ECZ-ID MCP Trust

See what the MCP servers your workspace declares can reach, and what changed since your last scan.

ECZ-ID MCP Trust is the developer inspection tooling for MCP. MCP Trust Community is free and local-first: no ECZ-ID or account is needed, and it inventories the MCP servers a workspace declares from configuration files only. MCP Trust Pro is a software subscription that adds to Community and never removes anything. Neither is a Passport, and neither proves anything on its own.

Why it matters for MCP servers and tools

An MCP entry in an editor is a command, some arguments and an environment block; nothing in the editor shows what a server declares in one place. MCP Trust does, from configuration alone.

It complements the Resolver: MCP Trust shows what is declared locally, and the Resolver shows what an operator has published about a server.

ECZ-ID MCP Trust: fit, outcomes and contents

Best for

  • Developers who run MCP servers in their editor and want to see what each one declares before connecting it.
  • Teams that need to notice when a server's declared configuration changes between scans.
  • Developers who also build agents: the Developer Trust Pro Bundle covers MCP Trust Pro and Agent Trust Pro.

What you get out of it

  • A per-server inventory of the MCP servers a workspace declares, read from configuration only.
  • A local record of what changed since the previous scan.
  • A route to the Resolver for any server that publishes an ECZ-ID.

What is included

  • MCP Trust Community, free: local discovery and inventory, read from configuration files only — it never starts a process or connects to a server.
  • MCP Trust Pro, monthly or annual: Pro features of the developer inspection tooling for the subscription term.
  • Developer Trust Pro Bundle, monthly or annual: Pro features of both developer Trust products.

How it works

  1. Install MCP Trust Community from the Developer Gateway's MCP Trust page; no account or sign-in.

  2. Open a workspace and run the check: every MCP server it declares is inventoried, locally.

  3. Re-scan to see what changed. Add Pro only if you want what it adds.

  4. For a server with an ECZ-ID, re-check its live Resolver record before relying on it.

What it is not

  • A software subscription is not a Passport: no Passport is required and none is created.
  • MCP Trust reads public and local signals and proves nothing on its own; it is never a trust claim.
  • Pro writes no Passport, Resolver or entitlement truth; TrustOps issues the subscription.

Proof & evidence

Resolve before reliance

  • The Resolver is the live public proof: anyone re-checks a record there, with no account.
  • The machine-readable record is a deterministic projection of the same record, for tools and agents.
  • A badge or a QR code is a route back to the live proof, never proof on its own.

The Developer Gateway defines the technical contracts — schemas, fields and result vocabularies — for MCP Trust. This site links them and never restates them.

FAQ

Questions about MCP Trust

What does MCP Trust not do?

A software subscription is not a Passport: no Passport is required and none is created. MCP Trust reads public and local signals and proves nothing on its own; it is never a trust claim. Pro writes no Passport, Resolver or entitlement truth; TrustOps issues the subscription.

Where are the prices, and how do I start?

Prices and what can be bought today come from TrustOps, which owns every purchase, entitlement and renewal. Each row on this page links to its own TrustOps destination, with its cadence or edition already chosen.

How do I manage MCP Trust once I have it?

Sign in to TrustOps and manage it from your ECZ-ID account. TrustOps holds the order, the entitlement and any renewal; this site never does.

How does someone re-check the MCP server it relates to?

Resolve before reliance. The Resolver is the live public proof; the machine-readable record is a deterministic projection of the same record; a badge or QR code is a route back to it. No product on this page becomes proof itself.
