AEC — Active Entity Capacity

Scale the estate you actively operate without turning capacity into identity.

AEC is the operating-capacity layer for ECZ-ID. Passports stay free; AEC is what expands the number of entities you can actively manage with live bindings, state and operational services.

For an MCP server: An MCP server you actively manage in production, with live bindings and current state, counts as one active entity — in the same pool as your agents, APIs and other identities.

The same five products and entitlements serve all seven Passport families. There is no MCP edition — only MCP examples.

Prices and what can be bought today come from TrustOps, which owns every purchase, entitlement and renewal.

AEC — Active Entity Capacity: fit, outcomes and contents

Best for

  • Teams moving from a handful of ECZ-ID entities to a production estate.
  • Organisations that want one predictable capacity model across Agent, MCP, Plugin, API, IoT, SDK and Service & Workload.
  • Operators that need headroom without creating another identity tier.

What you get out of it

  • More actively managed entities under one organisation.
  • A single capacity model instead of seven family-specific meters.
  • Clear separation between identity, assurance and operating scale.

What is included

  • Capacity applied to the organisation's actively managed ECZ-ID estate.
  • A clear used-versus-available capacity view in the customer control plane.
  • Compatibility with all seven free Passport families.
  • A TrustOps path for adding capacity when required.

How it works

  1. Issue free Passports for the entities you need to identify.

  2. Use the included baseline capacity first.

  3. Add AEC when the actively managed estate grows beyond that baseline.

  4. The extra capacity changes scale only; it never changes verification or assurance.

What it is not

  • AEC is capacity, not verification, certification or trust status.
  • A Passport remains free whether or not the entity is inside paid operating capacity.
